Although captivating, cheetahs are in constant threat of extinction from habitat loss, human/wildlife conflict, and illegal wildlife trade. This augmented reality app is meant to share some of the intrigue of these big cats, without the danger posed by keeping them as pets or visiting their habitats in the wild.
Modeled after real cheetah behavior, this big cat will keep an eye on you and react as you move around. But be careful that you don’t get too close! Just like the real counterparts to this virtual predator, it will get startled and hostile if you don’t use caution.
To document your encounters with this beast of prey, use the camera to take photos or video that you can save and share on social media! Post using #SaveTheCheetah to help to raise awareness about cheetah conservation.
If you want to learn more about cheetahs and the challenges that they face, augmented reality facts that float beside the cat will help you discover more about the regions where they live, their diet, population, stats, and about the harmful effects of illegal pet trade.

To install Virtual Cheetah on your iOS device, just click the green Continue To App button above to start the installation process.
